06/12/2018 by Andrew Gibson

CoolPac applied for financial assistance in the “Boost Your Business” program and was accepted. The program is a Victorian State Government initiative “… to support Victorian businesses to become more productive, employ more people, improve market access and in general, increase their scale, diversity and profitability”.

CoolPac will contribute dollar for dollar to enlist the services of Lean Manufacturing consultants TXM Pty Ltd to come in and assistantships the CoolPac team to improve their practices.

TXM is a Melbourne based company with offices in UK, Europe, Canada USA and China. They have been consulting and training in Lean Manufacturing since 2004 across a variety of industries including: timber joinery, automotive, pharmaceutical, machine shops and boat builders.

About Andrew Gibson

Andrew has worked in a few pharmaceutical / medical device companies. He's certainly seen the inside of many facilities during stints in both Production & Quality roles. Having cut his teeth at CSL in the early 80s (gee that sounds sooo long ago) he then went on to work in quality and validation - just as validation/qualification was maturing into the management systems that the industry knows today.
